Hey Sis,

I wrote this blog sometime around Valentine's Day. It dawned on me that although some of us celebrated, some of us were not ok. So I just wanted to be the one to remind you:

God Loves You

Sis God loved you first. He loves us freely because of who he is and nothing that we have done. Before he formed you, he knew what you would do, the secrets and flaws that you would have and yet he still loves you. The word tells us:

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart - Jeremiah 1:5

Let me tell you why we know that God loves us. He made provision.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. -Genesis 1:26

He made you in his own image Sis, with the two beings that he knew you would need more than air to breathe. He made you with Jesus whom he would allow to die just to be in connection with you. He made you with the Holy Spirit that he would send to talk to you daily, to be your guide and keep you safe .

Sis, You are God's Special Possession -1 Peter 2:9 

I don't know what season you are in Sis, but there is one thing you can be certain of, God's love is in it with you.

He left us a love letter, the Bible. Its a book about the lengths that God would take just to get you back, to have a relationship with you.

He chases after us, relentlessly. No matter how much we reject him. He is the ultimate gentleman. He will never force his way into our hearts. Im here to encourage you to let him in. You can Trust God with your heart. 

I will leave you with this. It's my favorite scripture and I never get tired of sending it to you. 

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39
